Sarah was inspired by films from an early age. She attended a foundation course at LCP taking stills and shooting super 8 films, which led to a film degree course where she majored in Cinematography gaining a first class degree.
Sarah then worked as a camera trainee and clapper loader on films such as 'The Fifth Element', 'Nil by Mouth', 'Wilde' and 'The Four Feathers'. During this time she was lucky enough to work for D.O.P's such as Remi Adefarasin, Robert Richardson, Oliver Stapleton and John de Borman.
Having been inspired by these D.O.P's Sarah applied to the NFTS in 2000.
Since graduating she has worked on numerous TV Dramas, Commercials, such as Hardy's wine, United airlines and Citroen, and many short films such as the 2005 Bafta nominated 'City Paradise' directed by Gaelle Denis and 'Zoltan the Great' directed by Robbie Samuels for which Sarah won best Cinematography at Indiefest Chicago in 2007.
She was recently 2nd unit D.O.P on the feature 'All Good Children' directed by Alicia Duffy yet to be released.
