I've worked in the camera department close on 14 years, whilst making short films, very, very slowly. I have made 3 short films which have brought me to the attention of the UK Film Council, Film4, BBC Films and HBO. My shorts have played through out the world at major international film festivals, have won several awards and have screened on Film4, HBO, BBC HD and BBC Film Network. As a writer, I have been shortlisted on many different writing schemes including Cinema Extreme (twice), Orange/Film Four Award, North Star Award (twice), BBC New Drama Shorts, UK FC Digital Nation and Director's Lab. Currently developing, (i.e. writing or persuading someone else to write), my feature film idea which I'm really excited about and hoping I can create more opportunities to make more films at a more frequent rate and lay down my camera belt for ever!
